You might get away with a skeleton key, if the piano is an upright made 
before about 1925...

Otherwise, many and varied are the locks.

They work fine, on an individual basis. - See below.

The locks here are all keyed to a master system (Best) so that master, 
submaster and individual keys are possible.  - For example: The classroom 
and the piano contained therein are both on the same submaster, but studios 
are not...

I have had good success with the Jaras clamps, which I bore out slightly to 
fit a thin bailed lock.
