"IF YOU WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH, STOP HAVING OPINIONS!" Would someone care to explain the above to me? It seems to be the heading of several emails, but I fail to understand how it relates to pianos and even what on earth it means. If this is some religious or political crap, please stop shoving it in front of my face. I'm interested in reading most all the posts on this list, but by putting it at the heading of an email, one if going well out of their way to be sure that everyone sees and studies this thing - which I'm quite sure is the intent - I simply argue that it is not appropriate for this list. Why they can influence the classic false beat to begin with needs a good explanation not to mention how the loose pin idea fits into that box. The staple interrupts the periodicity of the oscillation? Phase interruption or damping? Hmmm. Paul -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
