Absolute nonsense.  You simply refuse to read anything that 
contradicts your bone-headed opinion that wire is perfectly elastic. 
It doesn't make a scrap of difference what steel wire is involved; 
it's just that the Paulello wire demonstrates the phenomenon in such 
a way that it's clear for all to see without doing precise 
experiments.

In the patent I suggested you look at, published in 1985, what sort 
of wire do you think they were dealing with, for heavens' sake?!  Of 
course you did not read it.

Trust me, I would never do anything on your account -- unless perhaps 
your teeth were on fire, but your bone-headed self-importance 
certainly stimulates me to speak up against the nonsense you 
propagate on this list on this topic and others.
