This question is for College and University Technicians, or any other technician who services "heavy use" pianos. Certain types of machines and equipment in some industries require particular maintenance operations every so many HOURS of use. I'm wondering if anyone has ever figured out an average number of HOURS of playing between recommended tunings for pianos. Is there a list or chart someone has made with this information, as well as similar estimates for the number of HOURS before various other types of regulation is generally needed? WTS Wallace T.
