Michelle I don't know of any systems out there, but I set up my own database in which I include a last tuning month and a next tuning month. The next one might be 3 months, 6 months or a year from the last service month, but the last service month stays the same until i tune the piano again. When I send out reminder notices, I first look for the "next tuning date" customers, and then the "last tuning date" customers. I send out reminder notices for 4 years. In addition to this, we’re working on a feature that would automatically send e-mail reminders to customers. This information would hopefully be transferrable to a spreadsheet on my PocketPC then I could also conceivably enter the info at the customer’s home and then sync it with the main database when I get home. Has anyone seen a piece of software like this? I don’t want to reinvent the wheel.
