>>How would you word the phone call reminding existing clients that a year has gone by and it is time to tune the piano.... Hi, this is Dean May, your piano tuner. I'm just calling to remind you that it's been a year since your piano was last tuned. I'm going to be in your neighborhood on Thursday and I was wondering if we could set a time to get it taken care of? "It does not get played" Well, it's important to still keep them tuned every one to two years even if they aren't played to keep the pitch up. Otherwise when you do decide to get it tuned it may need a more expensive pitch raise. Regular tuning helps keep your piano in shape and protects your investment. "I have no money" If it's a cash flow problem I certainly understand (I get those myself). Since I'm going to be in your area it would be better for me to do it now if you want to get it tuned. I'd be happy to leave an invoice and you can pay me within 30 days. Or I do take credit cards. The question remains: How would you word the phone call reminding existing clients that a year has gone by and it is time to tune the piano.... Of course they will say, "It does not get played" or "I have no money", what then do you say? Paul _____ It's Tax Time!
