HI Terry, I find that bass strings sem to behave better as well at times. I tuned a piaon yesterday that I've tuned for the school district, and it was pretty on when I found it, but oddly it went out in different sections more than others, and while tunign it I found some octaves that were OK and some unisons that were OK, but the temperament section I had to redo. Once I've finished the temperament, then I found some octaves that didn't wander. It was odd.
