Phil,

Me too, but rarely used. I personally know too many people "hooked" on meds, hence my comment. My son is a pharmacist and says that the very fact that I'm worried about it means I'm not likely to get hooked. The old Gordon Lightfoot song comes to mind when I think of this; "Sometimes I think it's a sin, when I get feelin' better when I'm feelin' no pain". (Or something like that)

Sounds like you are in touch with things and have a good handle on it. Good luck though. I hope you come through w/o complications.

Best,
Jim Busby

I always have good pain killers on the stand by, but my two best tools against pain are 1: lots of water and 2: lots of stretching - my back, neck and shoulders get stiff and sore if I've slipped into tuning zen for awhile - a blast of water and a 1 minute stretch out seems to be very effective - I agree however that a lot of pain that won't go away likely means something has gone wrong and needs fixin'
