Hi Matt & Joe, Thaks for the ideas. The trouble also is the wippen when it's loose will allow the jack to lift the hammer butt when I lift the wippen from underneeth. When the wippen is finally tight, it won't budge. Now I have to go back and remove the wippens again becuase the jack post came unglued again. This is turning into a nightmare.
