[pianotech] To unplug or not to unplug

Hi Alan,

Well, no--and I haven't looked much yet. Of course, the problem with looking on-line is you can't try them out. The only other option is to call around to the stores in town and go try out any that are there. Takes time--a between appointment or on the way home activity.

What is inexpensive enough?

Hi Barbara,

So far, I haven't been able to find a small, inexpensive retractable extension cord, on-line or off (my application would be in a classroom with a grand on a stage dolly). Have you had any luck with that?

:-)

Well, I thought I remembered someone mentioning a retractable extension cord on a stage piano. I guess I was really interested in how well that worked and which one in particular was used (I've only looked on Amazon).
