Marshall May I suggest you buy a moving blanket. You can probably get one at a U-Haul place. Wrap the action in a blanket, and you'll protect the dampers, and the wires. I guess you can say it's a better way hammers down instead of hands down. :-) When I had that cherokee sport before it rusted out, blew a break line as well not tomention rusted out exhaust etc. I used to take the actions and bungie them while they were upright. The problem I'm finding is that so many vehicles are not wide enough if the spare tire is in the car. I'm thinking min van once we can afford a vehicle. This was one just to get us on the road until something better came along.
