Hi Ed and others

Two years ago, I had it all figured out, but nooooo, old computer got
stolen, and now the new generation of the Mac doesn't run my old data
base software. Outlook is pretty limited for a customer list, so, who
has a Mac and has found software for a business like ours?
Thanks,

Ed Foote RPT

Daylite. Daylite. Daylite. Can be a little tricky to set up if you
have to do it yourself, but TOTALLY worth it. Nothing else like it as
far as I can tell. You can view all of your data from so many
different angles, it makes it a snap to find all of the people in zip
code 79015 that have uprights with Dampp-Chasers installed that had
their pianos tuned or serviced more than 6 months ago. Thanks to a tip
from Rob McCall, I can set it to remind me to send reminder postcards,
another one to follow up with a call and print all the labels right
from Daylite. I could NEVER do that with PTBiz and it drove me nuts,
personally.

I have all data synced between two macs and my iPhone and can add
customer and piano info on my iPhone and it will sync with the
database at home instantly over the internet.

There is also a product from the same company for invoicing called
Billings, which, once I get it set up, looks to be just as powerful at
finding who has paid and who hasn't and where and when and how many,
etc...

I highly recommend it. Any more questions about it, ask me or Rob
McCall or David Anderson, and anyone else that uses it.

Daniel Carlton
