I guess that was part of my question, as well.<G> I'd like to retain the flanges, if possible, but there are issues. Still waiting for some of those eye opening answers.<G>

   I don't know the answer, but I do have a related question about  frozen  drop screws on these flanges. I've had numerous experiences  where they just break off .
  So my somewhat related query is will heat break them loose ?
