[pianotech] Acorn needed

In a situation like this, it might be worth while looking into the feasibility, of having one turned down from brass, even just a brass cap and paint the underside black.
Or could it be replated with something other than chrome, like say bronze. 
There must be other choices for plating, more in line with your desire.
