[pianotech] Acorn needed

i'm waiting for a call.
I have about a dozen acorns saved from retired pianos.
Many old bolts,Nose bolts,etc. were made by Machine shops around piano  
factories and in those days machinists were recent immigrants from  
Europe.
They brought their own tool,dies and taps and all those threads were  
not exactly American and British  standart.
Many Agraffes had less then 36 threads per inch,etc.
Many of those bolts and screws were mixed and rebuilders can find  
those mix-ups in the same piano..
If no luck,may I suggest Changing or Re-Tapping the Nose Bolt??
