Hi Gene, I don't know if you'd be happier or not after taking all the time necessary for no more detectable difference than you'd make doing it. Yes, those pins are in there GOOD, and there are a gazillion verticals out there pinned and non-notched just like that which aren't significantly worse to tune, if at all, than something accurately notched and agraffed. Scratch designed, maybe, but I think that's a pretty low return for the effort in a retrofit. Ron N
