[pianotech] OT: BOYCOTT DELL

Just to answer possible curiosity, it came with Linux - in which they worked fine.

However, because of using it for tunings, I wiped it out and put on Win XP - then they quit (even after doing a BIOS 
upgrade, a Windows driver upgrade and a Dell driver upgrade).

I've also Googled and found "references" about this model, running Windows XX, NOT supporting the function keys (F1 - f10).

Which is one reason to further investigate from Dell.

Instead of fighting with me on this, all they had to do was, tell me yes or no, whether the function keys were supported 
under Win XX.

Which, again, pardon my French - damn windows.
