him.  "After ring" is too general a term.  Do some diagnostics with him and get 
him to be specific. You may be correcting things he doesn't hear, and he may

This teacher is very knowledgeable, and has helped me become a better 
tuner/techncian. He does hear specific things, and will point out minor problems I 
don't hear or feel. He touches up his own piano, and knows how to do minor 
regulation, but doesn't have an attitude that he knows more than I do. Last night 
he gave a recital, and I was truly impressed with his playing ability.
