Ted,

One test I consider is this-- Would the charges be justified if I were
the buyer and the other person the seller?  If so, go for it.  It is so
easy for us to look at things from just one point of view, and I think
that is short-sighted.  I think I can say I have a well-thought-out
reason for every amount I charge, but I don't explain the basis to my
clients unless they ask (they rarely do).
