Dear List:=20
I'm glad you're there.
Thanks Wim and Tom for sound advice, of not getting involved. The =
problem is that the customer is a pretty good friend from Toastmaster's, =
and I would like to do all I can to make her happy.=20
I will try as Wim suggest, muting the strings and checking for =
sympathetic ringing, and perhaps determine the problem. Also dampers, is =
there enough weight on the damper rail?=20

Perhaps that's it, as Tom says with the chinese grand: it's the way this =
particular piano is.=20

This done, I will report further findings to Phil Glen, Young Chang =
service manager.=20

That is all I can do. Not my problem.

Balancing customer service, dealer loyalty, and self
preservation. I like that.
