Hello everyone,

I think it is important to remember that insurance benefits, as well as
restrictions, vary greatly from to state. What State Farm, or any company,
for that matter does in one state may be very different from how their
policies read in another state. That is one of the challenges with writing
a policy to cover everyone in the entire organization. It might very will
be that the best deal can be secured on an individual basis. However, make
sure that the details of the policy are as good, if not better than what
we've been offered in the past. I hope we can find a good solution to this
problem.

Terry -

I had State Farm for business insurance for quite a few years, until they
informed me about 4 years ago that they were no longer writing policies for
small businesses like ours. I have been with Zurich since then. Trouble
is, State Farm was about $200/yr. Zurich is $500/yr. I have not had any
luck finding a cheaper alternative.

Thanks for all the suggestions so far. I heard back from my State Farm agent
yesterday and they said they do not write policies for my type of business.
I'll be pursuing some of the other suggestions today. Any additional
suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

My personal experience with State Farm has been good. They've paid when and
what they've owed, and have lowered my rates consistently since I've had
their coverage.

Sorry your experience has been less than stellar.

The question is, though, whose experience is the exception to the rule?
