Digital calipers

Hi Joel, I purchased the exact caliper from Harbor Freight here in
Milwaukee and find it to be very accurate. My Son In Law owns a tool and die
shop and I had him check it out with a very expensive caliper. It was right
on the money. Being so cheap I'll bet it won't last as long as a good one.
Time will tell.

List,

I have been using a digital caliper for about a year and find it
to be very handy for measuring almost anything. Tuning pin,
center pins, wire, depth of holes etc.

Any of you use a digital caliper? Pros & cons of their accuracy?

My reason for asking is that I found an ad for them in a Harbor Freight
flyer with a price of $15.99 lot no. 47257. Flyer also included a
coupon for 20% off.
I am thinking of buying another one to carry.

Thanks for your input.
