My tuners throughout the years never sent me a reminder card. I do send them to my customers. Thoughts?

If you send your tuners throughout the years to your customers, you're going to lose a lot of business FAST!

Sorry, couldn't resist. I have sent reminder cards every 6 months since I started 10 years ago. My return rate on these cards was always low; I'd say 2 out of 10 cards. Since my wife lost her job last year, she has been following up the cards up with a phone call. This has increased repeat business dramatically; maybe half book a tuning. Many, if not most, people say, "I'm so glad you called. I was meaning to call and forgot."

There are the few who seem rankled by the call, but my wife just backs off and tell them that we'll send them another card in 6 months. No pressure.
