what to do, what to do...

Daniel,

I see that you live in Amarillo. Having experienced one spring and one
summer in your city (working at Santa Fe Energy), I know how extremely HOT
and DRY it gets there. I'm curious, as others have mentioned, about the RH
in your shop, especially as compared to the home where it's lived all these
years. If the winter and early spring have been moderately humid, I imagine
it's possible that these cracks have always been there and open and close
every year, and you just didn't see them because they weren't open yet a
couple weeks ago.

What do other desert-dwelling techs do to humidify their shops?
