Over there! Way out over there

Greetings,

So we now have a new year, new milleneum, new everything. The
following posting comes from the "Tuning" list, and I thought may be of
interest to not only those in the area that could actually go there, but
also, to those that are interested in the intonational developments that are
going on around us.
The "Tuning" group from which this posting comes encompasses not only the
extreme avante-garde of n-based ET fanatics,(there are those that are working
in 31 TET and beyond), but also the incredibly deep research of Margo
Schulter, who focusses on the pre Renaissance music and the foundations of
what eventually became our harmonic environment.
I will be glad to send info to any that want to peek into the cauldron,
but I will warn all that the egos on that group are shelved quite far out of
the way, and the sparring takes place almost exclusively in the intellectual
realm. (It is refreshing to play in the sandbox without any brats making
doo-doo in the material).
Regards,
Ed Foote RPT
