This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment Hi Jack. Fun class in Arlington. Thanks. I haven't made my curved hammer = sanding paddles yet, but I will!!! Here is some additional info on Spinet Grand. Mfg. by Mathushek 1937, = #86180. Size: 37" deep (keyboard to rear) by 60" wide. It has 88 keys = (very nice set of ivory!) and normal strings, numbers, etc. as on any = normal small spinet. I have attached several pictures in the email I = sent directly to you Jack. I am sorry, for some reason the picture I = took of the whole piano did not come out :-(.=20 The piano is exactly rectangular - just like a square grand from the = 1800s - only it is smaller. The action, however is completely normal for = a modern grand, but then the bass section takes a 45 degree bend toward = the left rear corner. The pinblock follows the action, in that the tenor = and treble pins are all up front, like on a modern grand, but the bass = angle back and to the left, and the lowest few are in a line along the = left edge going back to almost the rear. This is shown in one of the = photos. I don't know the mfg. of the action - I have not taken it out. I = think there might be a scale number on the plate, but I did not write it = down :-(. Is this an unusual piano?????? Maybe I can talk them into = spending $$$ thousands $$$ to rebuild it!!!
