I have never done such an installation. If one finds humidity related =
troubles with keys/action, I would consider placing a low-wattage rod =
under the keybed first. If that did not adequately address an =
action-humidity problem I would then try a low-wattage rod right in =
front of the action stack. This rod would have its own humidistat =
installed within the action cavity.

I have a hard time imagining conditions where any of this would be =
necessary, but if such conditions existed, I would start out slow and =
monitor closely.

    If it is really humid down there, and you have action/key problems =
that are related to humidity, you might want to consider a separate =
system for inside the action and/or under the keybed -
