It looks to me that the knuckle is just a tad larger than the = original.=20 Yes it is, but only a tiny bit and I'm not so sure its not just that the = new knuckle is round an not flattened. AND, it looks like the flange center to knuckle molding center is = shorter on the new one. If that is the case then, the new shanks won't = work unless you move the knuckle out about 1mm - 1.5mm. Actually, in this case, the knuckle is actually a little bit farther out = (maybe a half-millimeter) from the hammer rail than the original. The = flange center to knuckle is the same, but the flange screw hole to = flange center is the half millimeter further apart on the new part. That = is an Abel shank/knuckle/flange.
