Paul What my predecessor said, which has resulted in a lot of customers who don't' play the piano any more, "to protect your investment", the piano needs to be tuned at least once a year. It's worked, because about half of the customers I have tuned in the past 6 months don't play the piano, or their kids have left the house, but they still insist on getting their piano tuned. I believe that it is up to the discretion of the tuner to remind the client of an appointment that is already set up in the books, 6 months or 1 year. ? The question remains:? How would you word the phone call reminding existing clients that a year has gone by and it is time to tune the piano.... ? Of course they will say, "It does not get played" or "I have no money", what then do you say? ? Paul It's Tax Time!
