    Hi Doug:
When I was new in the business, working in a rural area and making a =
nominal charge for travel, this worked for me: I would tell the first =
customer who wanted me to come a long way that there would be an =
additional travel charge of say, $30. However, if they could find =
another tuning for me in their area I would split the charge between the =
two. If they found yet another, I would split it 3 ways. It was =
surprising how this would work! Customers begin to think about =
relatives, church, school and neighbors who needed tunings. =20
The attraction of saving money is strong and motivates people to act =
in your behalf. Its a win-win arrangement. Good Luck.....
